Mock Sour Cream and Chive Dip
1 ½ cups cashews, soaked in water for 2 hours
1 cup water
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp minced fresh basil
2 Tbsp minced fresh dill
2 Tbsp minced fresh chives
Blend all ingredients, except the fresh herbs. Mix
in fresh herbs by hand. Serve with crudités and crackers.
Holiday Nog
4 cups almond milk or soy milk
½ cup packed, pitted dates
2 Tbsp maple syrup
2 frozen bananas
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp nutmeg
Blend the dates with 2 cups of the almond milk until
smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until
smooth. Serve immediately, sprinkled with additional
nutmeg.
Chocolate Fondue
2 avocadoes, chopped
¾ cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ¼ cups water
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve with strawberries,
tangerines, and/or bananas for dipping
