The
Four Week Detox Plan
Why not go into this holiday season healthy and
energized for a change?
This 4-Week Detox Plan
will help you lose weight and feel great.
Week 1:
50% Live/Raw and Eliminate Acid Forming Foods
Eliminate: All meat, dairy, caffeine
(including chocolate), alcohol and white sugar
50% raw: Fresh fruit, Salads and Prepared
raw food dishes and desserts
(That means, either 1 ½ meals a day plus ½
of all snacks, or 50% of each meal should be raw)
Add: 2-4 tablespoons Vitamineral Green
to juices or smoothies.
Examples:
- A cooked veggie burrito with vegetables, rice and
beans with fresh lettuce, salsa and guacamole and
a side salad. A raw dessert, if desired.
- Whole Grain veggie/avocado sandwich (no cheese)
with Vegan Mayonnaise
- Fruit Salad followed 15 minutes later by Steamed
Vegetables with olive oil and seasonings and Brown
rice with tamari sauce and a green salad
Week 2:
100% Live/Raw…Alkalize!
Eliminate: All grains and cooked foods.
You may alternatively do 2 of Week 3.
Eat: Anything you want, as long as
it’s raw and vegan. See Jenny's new book Raw
Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People
for recipes
Examples:
- Green Juice for breakfast or Vitamineral Green with
a Berry Smoothie
- Vegetable Lasagna with Caesar Salad for lunch
- Fresh Fruit and Nut Granola with Almond Milk for
a snack
- Cream of Zucchini Soup and Tomato Stacks with Pesto
for dinner
Continue: Drinking 2-4 tablespoons
Vitamineral Green each day
Week 3:
Blended Foods…More Energy, Less Food Prep
Eliminate: Nuts and Seeds and salt
(or use great moderation)
Eat: Energy Soups, Smoothies, Green
juices, etc. (See Raw
Food Made Easy for recipes, or
come to the next Raw Food
Detox class).
Continue: 2-4 tablespoons Vitamineral
Green each day.
Week 4:
Low Sugar & Gluten Free-80-100% Live/Raw
Eliminate: All sweet foods including
fruit (only berries if desired) This will help to rid
your body of Beasties (yeast, mold, fungus, Candida,
parasites…)
Eat: Blended and Unblended prepared
raw foods, AND choose foods that are low on the glycemic
index (no sweeteners, dried fruits, or bananas). Continue
to eat blended foods as much as you can.
Add: in some cooked foods like steamed
veggies with olive oil and vegetable soups if desired,
but make them only 20% of your diet and choose gluten
free grains (Millet, Quinoa and Buckwheat)
Continue to: refrain from animal products,
caffeine, alcohol and especially sugar. Have 2-4 tablespoons
Vitamineral Green daily.
