The 4-Week Detox Plan

Week 1: At Least 50% Raw and Eliminate Acid-Forming Foods

Eliminate:

  • All flesh foods (includes red meat, chicken, turkey, and fish)
  • Dairy
  • Caffeine (including chocolate)
  • Alcohol
  • White sugar & White Flour (includes anything white such as white rice too)

Add At Least 50% Raw:

  • Fresh fruit
  • Salads
  • Prepared Raw Food Dishes
  • Raw Desserts
  • 50% raw means, either 1 ½ meals a day raw plus ½ of all snacks raw, or 50% of each meal should be raw.
  • Water! (1/2 your body weight in ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons Vitamineral Green or other green superfood powder

Week 2: 100% Raw…Alkalize!

Eliminate:

  • All grains and cooked foods.

Eat:

  • Anything you want, as long as it’s raw and vegan. Keep in mind that nuts and sweets will slow down the detox. See Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People for recipes.
  • Water intake (1/2 your weight in oz.)
  • 2 tablespoons Vitamineral Green

Week 3: Blended and Liquid Foods…More Energy, Less Food Prep

Eliminate:

  • Nuts (Almond Milk in moderation OK)
  • Concentrated sweeteners (honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, dates, dried fruits)
  • Salt
  • Solid Foods

Add:

  • Enemas or colonics 2-3 times during the week
  • Any raw food that you can blend
  • Fruit and vegetable juices, straight or diluted 50% with water
  • Easiest way to do a liquid/blended diet: juice or smoothie for breakfast and lunch, green soup for dinner. Drink water between meals. Add Vitamineral Green or other green superfood powder to your water, juices, or smoothies.
  • Add ground flax, chia, hemp, pumpkin, sunflower, or sesame seeds to your smoothies, juices, and soups for extra nutrition and fiber, if desired
  • Daily Water intake (1/2 your body weight in oz.)
  • Green Juices and 2-4 tablespoons Vitamineral Green

Week 4: Low Sugar & Gluten Free. 80-100% Raw

Eliminate:

Concentrated sweeteners (honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, dates, dried fruits)

If you suspect you have candida or sugar sensitivities, you may wish to also eliminate other sweet fruits this week (bananas, watermelon, tropical fruits, figs, grapes, and fruit juices). This will help to rid your body of yeast, mold, fungus, candida, and parasites.

Add:

  • Cooked foods like steamed veggies with olive oil and vegetable soups if desired, but make them only 20% of your diet and choose gluten-free grains (Millet, Quinoa, Amaranth, Buckwheat, and Wild or Brown Rice).
  • Water, water, water…
  • Refrain from animal products, caffeine, white foods, alcohol and especially sugar
  • Drink green juice or 2 tablespoons Vitamineral Green daily
